Will you be heading to the cinema this weekend to see Red Dog? \n\nhttp://www.reddogmovie.com/\n\nThe critically-acclaimed film tells the amazing true story of an Australian Kelpie who travelled Western Australia in the 1970s, searching for his family and helping to bring together a local community. Red Dog was a true local hero, and a statue has been placed in his honour in one of the towns he regularly visited. \n\nThe acting dog, Koko, who plays Red Dog was also awarded Best Dog in a Foreign Film at the Golden Collar Awards in Los Angeles. Congratulations Koko!
@looking4stars Not such a popular award, but we shouldn't underestimate the skill, talent and dedication required by champion snorers ;)
Check out our video starring Pedigree Adoption Drive ambassador Steve Leonard, giving a behind the scenes look at the National Animal Welfare Trust and the work they do for abandoned dogs, as well how the money raised by the Pedigree Adoption Drive has helped them.
In yesterday's Mirror some of you may have seen our campaign to help rescue abandoned dogs through the Pedigree Adoption drive.
Hopefully by now you’ve already taken Ripley on a virtual dog walk around the web and unlocked a £1 donation for this year’s Pedigree Adoption Drive. We’re hoping to raise a grand total of £100,000 for rescue centres around the UK, so make sure you tell your friends to get involved too.
